The EC team hosted Holmes on Wednesday, September 12th in the north division opener for the Lady Warriors. The women were out to show improvement from previous matches and did just that. In the match-up, Claire Milling and Kelsey Tadlock each scored a goal but the Lady Warriors fell 2-4. The squad remains winless after four starts.
Milling is a freshman forward from West Lauderdale and Tadlock is a sophomore forward from Newton County. Destiney Tomasich was credited with an assist in Tadlock’s goal. Tomasich is a freshman midfielder from West Harrison High School.
EC continues division action by battling Itawamba Community College Friday, September 14. Game times are 2 and 4 p.m. on the Decatur campus.
