The Lady Warriors were determined to improve from the first meeting with the Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs. They did just that but still came up short. The EC girls came out and surprised the Gulf Coast girls by scoring just 4 minutes and 53 seconds into the game. Freshman Mackenzie Britt scored off of an assist from sophomore Kelsey Tadlock. The stunned Bulldogs seemed out of sorts after this as the Lady Warriors continued to push for another goal. In the 20th minute however tragedy struck as the EC girls were called for a penalty in the box. The resulting penalty kick tied the match and seemed to bring life to the Lady Bulldogs. Just three minutes later the Gulf Coast team would strike again, this time off of a corner kick. Just two more minutes would pass and the Gulf Coast girls finished yet another goal to bring the score to 3-1. The Lady Warriors tightened the defense and worked hard the rest of the game but could not find the net again even though they turned away the Lady Bulldogs time and again. The game ended with the score 3-1 in the favor of the Lady Bulldogs.

They game was very interesting constantly keeping us on the edge of the seat. Although I was supporting Lady Warriors but Lady Bulldogs did take a bite out of them.
