The EC squads traveled to Summit Tuesday, October 2 for a rematch with the Bears. After controlling the match for most of the first half the Warriors found themselves still tied 0-0 at the half. After the half the Warriors came out hard and finally in the 63rd minute Taylor Potter connected for the match's first goal. He was assisted by Russ Thompson. The Warriors continued to press hard and in the 72nd minute McGee Ledbetter struck for another goal. The Warriors continued to push for more but were unable to score again so the final stood at 2-0 in favor of EC. The Warriors are now 7-3-2 on the season and will travel to Meridian on Wednesday, October 3 for a rematch with the Eagles of MCC. Game time is 7:00.
