ECCC Soccer Warrior Letter-Winners

Letters were presented to the above sophomore members of the 2012 East Central Community College men’s soccer team at the annual Fall Sports Awards Banquet held December 5 in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria on the Decatur campus. Award recipients and their respective high schools include (seated from left) Bryor Shorter, Florence; McGee Ledbetter, Heritage Academy, Columbus; Jose Aju, Eupora; Ronnie Tisdale, Pascagoula; Zack Killion, South Oldham, Crestwood, Kentucky; and (standing from left) Ryne Riebeck, Florence; Clay Aikens, McLaurin; Drew Norman, Florence; and Jared Canoy, West Harrison, Gulfport. Not pictured are letter-winners Tyravian Miller, Moss Point; DeShawn Kitchens, Florence; and Jacob Norman, Gulfport. Coach Kenneth Thompson presented letters. The 2012 squad completed the program’s best season by winning a share of the MACJC North Division title with a 5-2-1 record and earning a first-ever berth in the state playoffs en route to a 10-5-3 mark.
