The East Central Warriors went into Ellisville trying to get closer to locking in their post season bid. The Warriors came out and took an early lead in game one by scoring 6 unanswered runs in the first 4 innings. Fernando Gonzalez kept the Bobcats quiet throughout the first three innings, but they strung together several hits in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game at six. The Warriors rallied the troops to score three more runs in the top of the fifth which proved to be enough to hold off the Bobcats with a final score of 9-6. Marc Cruso came on to pitch 2/3 of an inning in the fourth and pitched the whole fifth inning to get the win for the Warriors. JCJC came out hot early in the first game and continued to stay hot. The Bobcats put up 8 unanswered runs in game two. Logan Riddell kept the Warrior bats at bay and wouldn not give them any time to get a rally going. The Warriors still hold the third spot in the south division with only four games to play. The next game will be Wednesday, April 25, in Decatur, against PRCC. Wednesday will be sophomore night and we would love to see you there.
