Patricia Quintana of Philadelphia accepts a GED (General Educational Development) diploma from East Central Community College President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin on behalf of her son, Ryan Quintana, who was unable to attend the  commencement due to his military obligations with the Mississippi Army National Guard. Dr. Sutphin presented diplomas to the approximately 70 graduates who received special recognition for their accomplishment at the annual program held on the Decatur campus.
