At left is Warrior head coach Brian Anderson.  Matherne received the injury after being sacked on the Warrior four-yard line by Bulldog defensive end Cordell Paige of Gautier. Matherne, one of the top passers in the nation and state, finished the night by completing 12 of 22 passes for 148 yards and one score. The extent of Matherne’s injury is not known at this posting.
