East Central Community College’s Diamond Warriors return to action today to host Alabama Southern in a doubleheader set to begin at 2 p.m. at the Clark/Gay Baseball Complex on the Decatur campus. The first game is a nine-inning battle and will be followed by a seven-inning contest.

The non-division matchup was previously scheduled for Saturday but was postponed due to field conditions following Friday’s snowfall.

East Central is 2-0 on the young season, following a sweep (12-2, 8-4) of Marion Military Institute in the season opener on Feb. 9.
