East Central Community College’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes is sponsoring a Fall Rally Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, on the Decatur campus.

There is no charge to attend the special program, which begins at 7 p.m. in Huff Auditorium.

The Rev. Marcus Mann, former pastor of Sylvarena Baptist Church in Brandon, and ECCC staff member Ricky Harrison will serve as guest speakers.

Mann is a former NBA Basketball player with the Golden State Warriors. He had stellar basketball careers at Mississippi Valley State University, ECCC and South Leake High School. He is a member of the MVSU and ECCC athletic halls of fame. He was also chosen for the ECCC Hall of Fame.

Harrison, who teaches drafting and design technology, is also a Gideon and former FCA sponsor. He also excelled in athletics at ECCC and Beulah-Hubbard High School. 

Musical guests are Drew Harrison, Jordan Smith, Brandon Kennedy and the C3 Band from Clarke-Venable Baptist Church. 

“We invite the public to attend the FCA Rally and want to extend a special invitation to area students,” said Scott Hill, ECCC women’s head softball coach who serves as FCA sponsor.
