A seminar on planned giving was held Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, on the East Central Community College campus in Decatur. Participants included (from left) G. Windell Saffles, Jr., a Life Production Consultant with New York Life Insurance; J. Stephen Stubblefield, Senior Law Partner with Stubblefield and Yelverton, PLLC;  and Richard L. Hamner, a partner with New York Life Insurance, who are shown with ECCC President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin. Stubblefield spoke on charitable giving techniques. Saffles made a presentation on the advantages of donating life insurance. The ECCC Foundation, Inc., sponsored the seminar.
