Dressed in pink shirts in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, these East Central Community College science instructors are shown hanging ribbons on an “honor tree” in memory or honor of those affected by the disease. The honor tree is located in Cross Hall and has attracted numerous donations for the fund-raising project, sponsored by Sigma Sigma Mu Tau, an organization for science students. The instructors encourage others “to hang a ribbon in support of the fight against breast cancer and donate to research and patient support.” The honor tree will remain on display through Nov. 5.
