Lauren Nicholas gave East Central Community College an early 1-0 lead with this slide in the first game of a doubleheader sweep with East Mississippi Community College Thursday on the Decatur campus. The Lady Diamond Warriors won the opener by a 5-1 score and cruised 8-1 in the second contest to complete the sweep and improve to 10-1-1. Nicholas, a freshman infielder, is a product of Neshoba Central High School.
