Annie Stowers (center) of Forest was recently honored for 10 years service as a member of the East Central Community College Board of Trustees. Stowers is shown with Board Chairman Prentice Copeland (left) of Philadelphia and ECCC President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin who honored the longtime trustee at the group’s Aug. 10, 2010, meeting on the Decatur campus. Stowers was also recognized for her service and received a plaque of appreciation at the annual Mississippi Community and Junior College Trustees’ Association Conference held July 8-10 in Biloxi.
