The Concert Choir is a select group of students that sing music ranging from renaissance to 20th century music.

 How do you become a member?
Auditions are held each spring and students auditioning must be able to: match pitch, sing a melodic pattern to check tonal memory, sing and maintain their individual vocal part in an SATB group and read music.

    What does the Concert Choir do?
In addition to their annual fall and spring campus concerts, the Concert Choir travels to district High Schools and perform. We also host the annual High School choral Festival for district high school choral music programs. A record 312 students attended this event during the fall semester.

How often does the group practice?
The Concert Choir meets like a class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00-10:50 in the choir room in Vickers Fine Arts Building.

What rewards come with being a member of the Concert Choir?
ECCC provides each member of the group with a half tuition scholarship.  After performances are completed, members of this prestigious choir are rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing they have provided a program of wonderful musical selections.
