East Central Community College prides itself on meeting the education and training needs of Leake, Newton, Neshoba, Scott, and Winston counties in east central Mississippi. 2004-2005 credit enrollment includes 2,739 students enrolled in academic, technical, or vocational course work. In addition to credit students, the College serves more than 1,800 non-credit students through adult education classes that lead to the General Education Diploma and over 16,000 individuals participate in workforce training activities through our Workforce Development Center.  The College's fall 2004 enrollment is a new record.

East Central Community College is part of the Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC) and is committed to providing quality, on-line instruction as an alternative delivery system to those who need educational opportunities but cannot schedule time to come on campus. In addition to the classes listed on the ECCC schedule, there are other opportunities available through East Central and the MSVCC for on-line courses from other Mississippi Community Colleges.
