ECCC Announces Spring Evening Class Schedule

Numerous evening classes are being offered for the 2008 spring term at East Central Community College in Decatur, announced Donna Luke, director of admissions, records and research.

Registration is ongoing for all evening classes, with extended hours for registration scheduled from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008, in the admissions office.

Classes begin Monday, January 7, on the Decatur campus and at various locations throughout the College’s five-county district.

The deadline to register for evening and day classes is Friday, January 18.

Courses for each evening class location are listed below.

DECATUR

Evening classes offered on the Decatur campus include AC Circuits, Keyboarding, Developmental English II, College Algebra, Music Appreciation, Drama Production I, II, III and IV; Principles of Economics II, World Geography, World Civilization I, Intermediate Algebra, The Real Number System, The Life of Christ, Human Anatomy and Physiology I, II and Lab, Child Development II, Advanced Cobol Programming Language, Principles of CAD, EMT-Basic, Principles of Accounting II, Microcomputer Applications, English Composition I and II, American History II, Oral Communication, Applied Business Mathematics, American National Government, Art Appreciation, Introduction to Corrections, American Literature II, Botany I and Lab, Administration of Programs for Young Children, Advance RPG Programming Language, Human Growth and Development, Ceramics I and II, Legal Environment of Business, Trigonometry, General Psychology, Physical Science Survey II and Lab, Intro to Computer Concepts, Forest Measurements, American History I, Geometry and Measurements, Marriage and Family, General Biology I, II and Lab, Medical Terminology II and Survey of Microcomputer Applications.

Evening classes offered at the Choctaw Hospitality Institute include Developmental English I, Developmental Reading I, Elementary Algebra, World Civilization II, American History II, College Algebra, Music Appreciation, Legal Environment of Business, Introduction to Corrections, American History, Intermediate Algebra, American National Government, Introduction to Sociology, Atypical Child, Developmental English II, English Composition II, Elementary Algebra and General Psychology.

FOREST-SCOTT COUNTY CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER

Evening classes offered at the Forest-Scott County Career and Technology Center include American History I, Principles of Accounting I, English Composition I, General Psychology, American Literature II, Human Growth and Development and Introduction to Sociology.

LEAKE COUNTY VOCATIONAL CENTER

Evening classes offered at the Leake County Vocational Center in Carthage include American Literature I, Human Growth and Development, Geometry and Measurement, English Composition I and II, World Civilization I, American History II and College Algebra.

PHILADELPHIA-NESHOBA COUNTY CAREER-TECHNICAL CENTER

Evening classes offered at the Philadelphia-Neshoba County Career-Technical Center include Principles of Accounting I, American History II, General Psychology, Developmental Reading I, Principles of Economics I, College Study Skills, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Spanish II, Personal and Community Health, Human Growth and Development, American National Government, Oral Communication, English Composition I and II, American Literature II and Trigonometry.

WINSTON-LOUISVILLE VOCATIONAL COMPLEX

Evening classes offered at the Winston-Louisville Vocational Complex include Forest Measurements, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, American National Government, English Composition I and II, Human Growth and Development, Trigonometry, The Real Number System, Oral Communication, American Literature II, American History I and Business Calculus I.

Cost is $75 per academic hour.
