ECCC Students Providing Christmas Gifts

East Central Community Colleges students Kristen Alsup (front) of Little Rock and Kim Edwards of Philadelphia are shown preparing Christmas gifts for delivery to residents of Care Lodge in Meridian. Both are members of Phi Beta Lambda which “adopted” the center for victims of domestic violence as a community project. Alsup serves as parliamentarian for PBL, an organization for business students. Phi Beta Lambda members also provided personal care items for Care Lodge residents at Thanksgiving.  Club members are also collecting used cell phones which will be reprogrammed for use by Care Lodge residents.
