Programs
Automotive ServicesThis two-year course is designed for the purpose of rendering basic training in the mechanic field. The first year will consist of orientation and basic operation and maintenance of engine, fuel systems, electrical systems, brake systems and the use of various test equipment. The second year will consist of operation and maintenance of transmissions, differentials, suspension systems and steering systems.
Construction TechnologyThis two-year program prepares a student for employment or continued education in the occupation of Carpentry, Electrical Wiring, Masonry, or Plumbing. Construction I is a basic course teaching fundamentals of safety, tools, math, and basic carpentry, electrical, masonry, and plumbing skills. Construction II provides advance instruction and practical applications of skills learned in Construction I.
Health SciencesThis two-year program is intended for 11th and 12th grad students who plan to enter a career in the health field upon completion of high school. This course will introduce the student to the various health career fields, the basic health sciences, and basic skills in both laboratory and clinical. It will expose the second year student to a clinical rotation in various health care facilities.
Student ServicesThis course is designed in cooperation with the career-technical instructor to provide students with basic skills that will be necessary for success in their chose career. Instruction in Mathematics, Language, and Reading will be provided to those students who have shown a need for improvement in these areas. Any career-technical student who would like extra help may take advantage of the student services offerings by requesting it with their teacher.

Business Computer TechnologyThis two-year program is designed for the student who intends to enter a career in business or attend college in a technical business area. This course introduces students to employment issues in the office setting. In the first year, students learn to use computers and software, improve communication skills, and understand basic financial skills. The second year focuses on developing a deeper understanding of computers and software, networking, web design, accounting, and personal finance skills.
Design & Merchandising Technology for Fashions & InteriorsThis two-year course is designed to prepare the student to enter the world of work in the field of merchandising or to continue their education upon completion of high school. Real work is simulated in the classroom and career awareness skills emphasized.
Manufacturing Trades/Metal FabricationThis two-year course is designed to teach the student the basic use of all machines used in the industrial machine shop. The student will be exposed to the lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, tool cutter/grinder, and metal cutting saw. Welding on oxyacetylene, AC-DC machines, wire welders, heli-arc welding, etc. will be taught as well an introduction to the layout and fabrication of sheet metal.
