The East Central soccer program has announced the date for Annual 2013 summer 7-v-7 High School Soccer Camp. The high school boys camp will be held on Friday, June 7 while the girls will be held on Saturday, June 8. After a stellar 2 year career with the Warrior soccer program, sophomore froward McGee Ledbetter has signed to continue his career with the 2012 NAIA National Champion Belhaven University Blazers. McGee capped off an outstanding career by being named the Region 23 Player of the Year and was the leading scorer in Region 23 in 2012 with 14 goals and 1 assist for 29 points. This follows a freshman campaign that saw him score 7 goals and have 2 assists for a career of 21 goals and 3 assists. McGee graduated from Heritage Academy in Columbus, MS where he earned a spot on the MAIS All-Star team following his senior season in 2011. In that match he scored for the North All-Stars. East Central wishes McGee the best of luck as he moves forward in his career.

Dalton Smith of the Florence HS Eagles recently signed to continue his career with the Warriors. Dalton a 5' 11" 165 lb forward comes to East Central after a successful senior season where he was the team leading scorer on his team that advanced to the 4A North State Championship. Daniel Casaca of Forest recently signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Warriors in 2013. Daniel, a 6'1" 190 lb midfielder is shown with his parents at his signing on the East Central campus.
Heritage Academy was the site for the recent signing of the newest member of the Warrior Soccer program. Matt Sykes a 5' 11", 170 lb keeper is shown signing his National Letter of Intent to continue his career at the college level. Matt was named the MAIS All-Star Team and participated in the All-Star game held at Jackson Academy. He received the team MVP for Defense in 2012 as well as being named 1st Team All-Conference and State in AAA in 2012. Matt's parents are Greg and Pam Sykes and he is shown with his brother, Hunter and sister, Sarah Katherine. Also shown is his high school coach Joe Asadi.
