Transfer Admissions A student wishing to enroll at East Central Community College that has attended one or more other colleges will fit one of the classifications described below: I. If the student was previously enrolled in credit courses at ECCC in the past, the student is a candidate for Re-Admission. Please click to our Re-Admissions page. II. If the student has never been previously enrolled at ECCC, one of the following three cases will apply: 1. The student intends to pursue a degree program at ECCC. The student is a Transfer candidate. 2. The student is over 21 years of age and does not intend to pursue a degree program at ECCC. The student is a Non-Degree Seeking candidate. 3. The student only intends to enroll for courses in a Summer term, then return in the Fall to the same institution of higher learning where the student was enrolled in the immediately preceding Spring. The student is a Transient candidate. If the student wishes to remain at EC for the subsequent Fall or Spring term - that student must then complete the regular admissions process. * If a Transfer candidate has taken English Composition I and College Algebra and earned a minimum of a 'C' in both courses, that student will not be required to submit official ACT or Compass scores for general admissions to East Central Community College. |

Non-Degree Seeking Admissions Requirements
Important note on Non-Degree Seeking candidacy: Non-Degree Seeking students are limited to 14 total credit hours at ECCC. Beyond that, these students must go through the full admissions process. Transient Admissions Requirements
