Brian White, an American History instructor at East Central Community College, was selected as the college’s Humanities Teacher of the Year and will present a special program on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 3 p.m. in Huff Auditorium. The program is free to attend, and the public is invited.

East Central Community College in Decatur announces the establishment of the Claire Myers Memorial Scholarship, which was recently set up by the Load the Bar Foundation in memory of Claire who was killed in a car accident in January 2021.

The East Central Community College cosmetology program, a career program in the college’s Career & Technical Education department, is a highly competitive program that is limited to 20 students each year that trains students that want to become cosmetologists.
Students named to the 2022 fall semester honor roll, which includes those selected to the President’s List, Dean's List, and Honorable Mention List have been announced at East Central Community College in Decatur.
