Bill & Louis Bailey Stadium

This facility anchors the North Campus Athletic Complex, and is the home of the Warrior football team. In addition to college football home games, the facility is utilized for other athletic, community, and institutional events. Severely damaged by hurricane Katrina in 2005, the stadium was refurbished with federal and private funds.

Vocational Technical Annex

Completed in 1969, this building is located on the north side of the campus and contains classrooms, offices, and laboratories for cosmetology and carpentry and cabinet making programs.

Newton Hall

This two-story classroom building was constructed in 1975 and houses the English, Social Science, History, Education, and Psychology departments. Also, sixteen faculty offices are located in this building along with several support  facilities.

Cross Hall


This facility contains classroom space for science courses and a laboratory facility for the chemical sciences. An extensive renovation was completed in 2014 which included two 100-seat classrooms and two 60-seat classrooms, among other enhancements. The renovation resulted in a modern up-to-date facility with the latest technology.


Davis Hall


This building was completed in 2011 and contains 17,300 square feet. It houses the physics labs, microbiology lab, four biology labs, and seven offices for instructors.


Burton Library


The present library building was occupied during the 1976-77 academic year. The library was named in honor of retired head librarian, Ms. Mamie Ethel Burton, during a dedication ceremony Fall of 1976. Burton Library is located near the center of the campus and provides adequate shelving space to house approximately 50,000 volumes, as well as study rooms, a leisure reading area and special collection holdings. The library has a seating capacity of 250, mostly individual study carrels. Provisions are made for housing non-book materials and for meeting technological changes and needs.


Vincent Administration Building

Occupied at the beginning of the 1978-79 school year, the administration building houses the offices of the president, vice president for instruction, vice president for business operations, vice president for foundation and alumni relations, director abe/ged, director for technology management, and the Board of Trustees’ room. Proper vault facilities for the business office and adequate storage for all offices are provided in the building. The 7,995 square foot facility was built in 1962 as the library for the College but was renovated for administrative use when the Burton Library was occupied. It is modern, spacious, and comfortable and is located on the front of the campus adjacent to Huff Auditorium.

Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building


This building was constructed in 1970 and is located near the football stadium.  Offices for football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and softball are housed in this facility, in addition to dressing facilities, the varsity basketball court, and the weight room.

Smith Student Services Building

Student Services moved into this modern 12,500 square foot complex in the summer of 1999. This ultra-modern building houses Student Services, Financial Aid, Office of Housing, Dean of Students, Admissions and Records, eLearning, Wellness Center, and Career Center. This complex also contains conference rooms and the offices of the college’s Student Recruiters. Phase II of the Student Union opened during the spring of 2006. This 20,749 square foot addition to the Student Union houses the Office of Admissions and Records, Student Grill, Bookstore, eLearning Center, and Wellness Center.


Tucker Applied Technology Center

Containing more than 58,000 square feet of floor space, this facility opened in 1969 and houses automotive technology, collision repair technology, business and office technology, computer technology, drafting and design technology,  electrical technology, heating and air conditioning technology, machine shop technology, and welding.

Workforce Development Center

Completed in 1995, this modern building has more than 2,700 square feet. Its nine offices and conference room provide space for the industrial and economic development activities of the College.

Vickers Fine Arts Center

Occupied in 1969, this facility contains a 212 seat auditorium, a choral room, a band hall, a music library, a listening room, classrooms, and art studios.

Sutphin Associate Degree Nursing/Childcare Building

Containing over 20,000 square feet of floor space, this facility opened in 1996 and houses the associate degree and practical nursing and early childhood education. This modern facility contains classrooms, lecture rooms, computer labs, and laboratories.

Huff Auditorium

Huff Auditorium is a place where we have a large auditorium and hold lots of meetings.  Public Information is housed here.

Wellness Center


The Wellness Center located in the Smith Student Union Building is open five days a week for use by students, faculty, and staff. The facility was renovated in 2016 thanks to a grant from the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation to support the college’s Warrior Wellness initiative to create and sustain a campus culture of wellness. The renovation included all new exercise and weight equipment.

Clark/Gay Memorial Baseball Complex


The baseball complex is home to the Diamond Warriors, the 2016 MACJC State Baseball Champions.

Tennis Courts


A new tennis complex is under construction and will open in February 2017. The eight new, lighted tennis courts will serve the ECCC men’s and women’s tennis teams, as well as the campus and local communities. The facility will include parking and spectator areas.

Softball Complex


The Softball Complex is home to the Lady Diamond Warrior softball team which finished No. 2 in the nation in 2015.

Soccer Complex


The Soccer Complex is home to the Warrior and Lady Warrior soccer teams. Located on the north end of campus next to the Softball Complex, the facility was completed in summer 1999.

Lake and Walking Trail Area


The EC Lake area includes a beautiful lake, the Dick Livingston Recreational/StudyTrail, a pavilion used for various functions, and two sand volleyball courts, among other features. The area includes a 1/2 mile lighted trail with exercise stations as well as a 3/4 mile lighted trail around the lake. In 2015 a nine-hole disc golf course opened at the EC Lake area.

Leake Hall

This two-story building containing sixteen apartments was originally constructed for married students. Today it is occupied by both faculty, honor students, and married students. A major renovation of this building was completed during the 1994 spring semester.

New Women's Dormitory


A new women's dormitory is currently under construction and expected to open for the Fall 2017 semester. Located adjacent to Barber Hall, the three-story facility will house 112 women in suite-style accommodations.
