ECCC Utility Lineman Program Holds Completion Ceremony

East Central Community College held its Spring 2026 Electrical Utility Lineman Program Completion Ceremony on Thursday, May 14, at 5 p.m. in Thrash Auditorium on the Decatur campus.

The ceremony recognized students completing the program, including Braylen Bell, Hunter Burns, Zarious Keyes, Anthony Pasqua, and Gabriel Quick. The program included an invocation by lineman student Zarious Keyes, a welcome from Dr. Lucretia Williams, director of Workforce Development, and remarks from instructor Curtis Bradley Jr. Bradley also presented certificates and the Chris Clark Award during the ceremony.

The Electrical Utility Lineman Program prepares students for careers in the electrical utility industry through hands-on training and classroom instruction. Students learn skills needed to safely work in a demanding field that supports homes, businesses, and communities across the region.

East Central Community College also recognized the support of its industry partners, including Mississippi Power Company, Central Electric Power Association, East Mississippi Electric Power Association, Philadelphia Utilities, Entergy, Southern Pine Electric, and Louisville Electric.

The ceremony concluded with a benediction by the lineman completers.
