East Central Community College hosted the annual Beauty Pageant in Huff Auditorium in Decatur on Tuesday with 20 contestants participating in the event.
The contestants, both freshmen and sophomores, competed in an interview, opening number, and evening gown competition before the scores were tabulated and a winner was announced.
ECCC freshman Ashton Luke of Philadelphia was named Most Beautiful at the end of the night. Luke, a Neshoba Central High School graduate, is a pre-medicine major at East Central and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society, Warrior Corps student ambassadors, Baptist Student Union, and Diamond Darlings. She serves as freshman class vice president and was selected a class favorite.
Luke was awarded flowers from 2023 Most Beautiful Mayson Manley of Enterprise and was crowned by ECCC President Dr. Brent Gregory.
Along with Luke, four beauties were recognized at the end of the competition. Those winners included Alexandria Tucker of Union, Natalie Burns of Union, Alli Claire Amis of Conehatta, and Lauren Gwendolyn Posey of Union.
