The East Central Community College Warriors fell to 0-7 on Saturday as the team dropped a tough game with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

New East Central Community College President Dr. Brent Gregory has been selected to receive Phi Theta Kappa’s Paragon Award for New Presidents during the honor society’s annual convention in April.

An open tryout for the fall 2021 East Central Community College men's soccer team will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at the ECCC Soccer Complex on the Decatur campus, announced head men's soccer coach Kenneth Thompson.

Players will need to bring their own equipment to workout in for the afternoon. All players will have to sign a waiver of liability in order to participate in the tryouts and provide a copy of a current physical.

The East Central Community College Warriors dropped a pair of games on the week as the team fell to Co-Lin, 90-81, on Monday night and 86-84 to Hinds on Thursday. The losses drop ECCC to 0-6 on the season.

The East Central Community College men's tennis team had a back-and-forth week as they fell to Mississippi Gulf Coast before blanking Holmes the following day. The results move the Warriors to 2-3 on the season.

Feb. 22, 2021

East Central Community College will hold its annual Black History Month program Wednesday, March 10, 2021, during a virtual presentation on Facebook Live. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and can be viewed at facebook.com/ecgospelchoir. The special program was earlier scheduled for Feb. 24, but was rescheduled due to last week's inclement weather.

Marcus Mann, a Carthage pastor and ECCC alumnus, will serve as guest speaker.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors dropped to 1-3 on the year on Tuesday as they fell Mississippi Gulf Coast, 9-0. The win improves the Lady Bulldogs to 5-0 on the season.
