Registration is underway at East Central Community College in Decatur for Spring 2021 Intensive Term II on-campus and online courses.

The last day to register for Spring 2021 Intensive Term II on-campus courses is Thursday, March 4. Classes begin on Wednesday, March 3, and end on May 6.

East Central Community College in Decatur will hold an Orientation Session Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, for those new students who wish to attend ECCC during the spring 2021 semester and have yet to register for classes.

Those attending will be asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

The application for scholarships awarded by the East Central Community College Foundation will be available beginning Jan. 6, 2021, through Feb. 19, 2021.

Students applying for scholarships must first complete an application for admission located at the top of the college’s website at www.eccc.edu. After being accepted for admission, students may then apply for scholarships by logging into their myEC account and clicking on the Future Students tab.

Students named to the 2020 fall semester honor roll, which includes those full-time students selected to the President’s List, Dean’s List and Honorable Mention List, have been announced at East Central Community College in Decatur, Miss. Full-time students are those who complete 15 or more hours during the semester.

East Central Community College “Wall O’ Sound” Marching Band members Angel Mondragon of Forest, a sophomore music education major, and LaDarrien Paten of Louisville, a freshman music education major, both trumpet players, have been selected to perform in the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Intercollegiate Marching Band (IMB). They will join nearly 1,500 performers from 200 bands in 45 states and Puerto Rico, all working together to produce a virtual college marching band show.
