ECCC Announces 2021 Fall Semester Honor Roll

Students named to the 2021 fall semester honor roll, which includes those selected to the President’s List, Dean’s List and Honorable Mention List, have been announced at East Central Community College in Decatur.

ECCC Announces Spring 2022 Term Dates, Spring Term Orientation

East Central Community College in Decatur will hold an Orientation Session Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, for those new students who wish to attend ECCC during one of the Spring 2022 terms and have yet to register for classes.

Full Term Day and Evening On-Campus Classes for the spring begin Monday, Jan. 10. The last day to register for those classes is Jan. 11. The last day of Full Term Day and Evening Classes is April 29 and Spring Graduation is May 6.

ECCC Offers Industrial Maintenance, Small Engine Repair Classes in Philadelphia

East Central Community College will offer courses in Small Engine Repair and Core & Industrial Maintenance beginning in January in Philadelphia.

Registration is open now through January 10 for Small Engine Repair, which begins January 11, 2022. Classes will meet from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday nights for 10 consecutive weeks in the Old US Motors Building located at 1224 North Pecan Avenue in Philadelphia. The cost of the class is $150.

Lady Warriors Basketball Threatens Coahoma; Falls 68-63

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors were unable to hand Coahoma Community College their first loss of the 2021-22 season, despite leading by six in the fourth quarter. The Lady Warriors, with a limited roster due to injuries, left it all on the floor on Monday night, Dec. 6, but fell to 4-5 on the year while the Lady Tigers improved to 7-0 after the 68-63 win.
