The Warrior Wellness program at East Central Community College in Decatur is offering Toning, KickFit, Yoga, and Spin classes during the fall 2017 semester that are open to the public.

The classes are held in the Wellness Center located in the Eddie Smith Student Union Building on campus. All classes are first come, first serve basis.

Toning classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and are free.

KickFit classes are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and cost $5 per class.

Yoga is offered on Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per class.

Spin classes are held on Mondays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and cost $5 per class.

Warrior Wellness was begun in fall 2016 thanks to initial grant funding from the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation in the amount of $127,500. A second grant for $92,588 from the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation is allowing ECCC to enhance and expand its Warrior Wellness program during 2017-18.
