East Central Community College is excited to launch the all-new Honors College in the fall of 2024. The Honors College will be open for enrollment to current high school seniors and current ECCC students who are eager to elevate their academic experience.

The Honors College at ECCC is designed to provide a unique and enriching educational opportunity for students seeking to excel in their studies. Regardless of their chosen major or program of study, including those in career and technical education, students are encouraged to express their interest in becoming a part of this innovative program.

Members of the Honors College will have access to a range of exclusive benefits, including specialized excursions that will expand their educational horizons and provide valuable hands-on experiences. This program is tailored to enhancing students' time at ECCC through active, and service learning,  trips, designated collaboration space on campus, professional mentoring, personalized recruiting experiences, and honors-to-honors partnership programs to allow students to not only seamlessly transfer ECCC coursework to a four-year university, but also to be accepted to partnering four-year university Honors Programs/Colleges, receive transfer scholarships, priority registration, and/or preferential housing.
