East Central Community College’s Fine Arts program offers foundational art courses, academic scholarships, and the opportunity to be a part of a creative, nurturing environment that promotes excellence in academic art. Students transfer into many four-year degree programs across the country. Some noteworthy institutions include, The Art Institute of Chicago, University of New Orleans, Mississippi State University, Delta State University, Memphis College of Art, and Buena Vista University, Iowa. Once students transfer, they focus on a wide range of areas of interest such as painting/drawing, graphic design, illustration, film, animation, game design, and digital media.
Classes include: Design, Drawing, Painting, Three-Dimensional Design, Art History, and Art Appreciation.

The Visual Art Program at ECCC offers half tuition Art Service Scholarships for qualifying students.
