Wind/Percussion
ECCC Band Directors will be attending district schools throughout the month of February to do in-person auditions. There is an additional weekend date in March for the ones that are not available during February. Other special audition dates upon request by contacting mquinn@eccc.edu.

ECCC Wall O’ Sound Band Audition Information
Woodwind and Brass Audition Requirements:
Scales: 2 Major scales of your choice
Chromatic Scale: Full range of the instrument
Prepared Piece: Solo or etude of your choice
Prepared piece can come from a selection of your concert band literature and/or audition materials from honor bands.
Percussion Audition Requirements:
(You are welcome to audition on multiple instruments. Only 1 is required)
- Snare
Rudiment: Long Roll, 2 additional rudiments of your choosing
Prepared Piece: Solo or etude of your choice
- Mallet
Same as Wind auditions
- Timpani
Tuning: P4 and P5
Prepared Piece: Solo or etude of your choice
Drumline Audition materials will be provided during the Drumline Help Session.
Prepared piece can come from a selection of your concert band literature and/or audition materials from honor bands.
Drum Major/Centralette/Color Guard:
Students are required to attend the workshops and complete the audition process.
