The annual ECCC Woods and White Tennis Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Woods and Whites is a fun, social doubles tournament played like Wimbledon in the old days. Players must wear white clothing (minimum white shirt/T-shirt), play with white tennis balls, and hit with wood racquets, which are provided.

The event is $30 per player and is payable on day of the tournament.

The East Central Community College Warriors played a tight match with the Itawamba Community College Indians on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 14. The match ultimately went in ICC's favor, 1-0, despite stellar effort from the Warriors for all 90 minutes. The loss drops ECCC to 0-5-1, 0-2 on the year and improved the Indians to 3-2, 2-0.

The No. 6 Lady Warriors of East Central Community College dropped their second match of the year on Tuesday, Sept. 14, after a tough 2-1 overtime loss to the Itawamba Community College Indians. The MACCC North Division was played in Fulton and the loss drops ECCC to 4-2, 0-2 on the year, while the Lady Indians improve to 3-2, 2-0.

The 2021-22 season will feature a return to golf for East Central Community College as head coach Chris Clark looks to lead the Warriors for the first time since 2018. The program was suspended in November of 2017, but play continued through the spring of 2018 as the Warriors traveled to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Golf Championships at Glen Lakes Golf Club in Foley, Ala. where the team finished in 12th place.

The Neshoba Central High School Big Blue Marching Band will perform and one lucky student will get a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship for the Fall 2022 semester as East Central Community College hosts its annual “Be Our Guest” football game Thursday, Sept. 30.

Olivia Clark (Decatur) was tabbed MACCC Keeper of the Week after another stellar week guarding the Lady Warriors' net. Clark, a sophomore, posted a clean sheet last week as the Lady Warriors defeated the No. 19 Mississippi Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs, 1-0.

The Warriors of East Central fell to 0-3-1 last night, September 7, after a tough cross-divisional loss to the No. 13 Pearl River Wildcats in Poplarville. 

The Wildcats were able to score early on a freekick and quickly followed with another goal. The hot start put PRCC on top, 2-0, in the opening minutes.
