Registration is underway for Fall 2017 Intensive Term II on-campus and online courses at East Central Community College in Decatur.

The last day to register for on-campus courses in the Fall 2017 Intensive Term II is Thursday, Oct. 5. Classes begin on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Among the on-campus classes offered during the eight-week accelerated on-campus term include Microsoft Word I, Intermediate English, English Composition I and II, College Algebra, Calculus II and Calculus IV, and Computer Aided Design II.

After a scoreless first half, the East Central Community College men’s soccer team posted four second half goals to pick up an MACJC North Division win against Northwest Mississippi Community College Friday, Sept. 8, in Decatur.

The Warriors improved to 3-0-1 in the MACJC North Division and 3-1-1 overall. Northwest fell to 1-3-1 overall and 0-2 in the league.

In anticipation of its 2017 home football opener Sept. 14, East Central Community College is announcing several changes in an effort to provide a safer and more enjoyable game-day experience for Warrior fans.

The East Central Community College men’s and women’s soccer teams opened 2017 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges North Division play Friday, Sept. 1, but with mixed results.

The ECCC women opened with a 2-0 loss to the unbeaten Lady Bulldogs.

The match was scoreless until the 47th minute when Kendal Walsh got Holmes on the scoreboard. Sarah Donahoo added another Lady Bulldog goal eight minutes later.

East Central Community College (ECCC) in Decatur is searching for a head women’s basketball coach to lead the program.

Crandal Porter, who coached the Lady Warriors from 2012 to 2017, recently submitted his resignation.
