East Central Community College (ECCC) in Decatur is searching for a head women’s basketball coach to lead the program.
Crandal Porter, who coached the Lady Warriors from 2012 to 2017, recently submitted his resignation.

The ECCC women’s basketball team has qualified for National Junior College Athletic Association Region 23 play in each of the past three seasons, including a Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges State Championship in the 2015-16 season.
Practice for the 2017-18 season begins Oct. 15. The regular season opens Thursday, Nov. 2, against Coahoma Community College in Brackeen-Wood Gym in Decatur.
