The East Central Community College Department of Athletics is inviting all youth league football players and their coaches in the college’s five-county service area to attend the Warriors’ MACJC semifinal football playoff game Saturday, Nov. 5.
East Central will face the No. 4 ranked Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers Saturday, with kickoff at 2 p.m. from Bailey Stadium in Decatur.
Youth league football players and their coaches from Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Scott and Winston counties ages 12 and under who attend the game in their team jerseys will receive free admission. Players and coaches are asked to progress through the main ticket booth as a group. Parents of youth league football players who attend will be required to pay the normal general admission fee of $10 at the gate.
The East Central Warriors are 5-4 on the year and are champions of the MACJC South Division for the first time in program history.
Northwest, the defending national champion, is 8-1 on the season and finished second in the MACJC North Division.
