May 19, 2026

East Central Community College is helping educators rethink classroom assessment in today’s AI-influenced learning environment through a four-week, fully online professional learning experience titled Exploration of AI in Education, scheduled June 1-26.

The course, Exploration of AI in Education, is designed specifically for educators seeking practical strategies to rethink and redesign authentic, rigorous, and practical assessments that hold up in classrooms increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence tools.

Participants may earn three hours of college credit at no cost or three Continuing Education Units for a $20 fee.

The course focuses on helping educators move from uncertainty to practical classroom application by providing strategies that support meaningful assessment, academic integrity, and student learning in AI-enhanced educational settings.

Registration is now open at www.eccc.edu/apply. Interested participants should submit a Summer 2026 application as a non-degree-seeking student and provide their most recent transcript.
