East Central Community College’s Practical Nursing Program is celebrating a significant accomplishment as all graduates from the July 2025 class achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). This achievement showcases the high caliber of instruction within the program and the dedication of students who commit to the rigorous academic and clinical preparation required for nursing practice.
The 100% first-attempt pass rate places the program among the top performers statewide and nationally. First-time success on the NCLEX is a key indicator of program strength, professional readiness, and the ability to meet workforce needs across east central Mississippi.
ECCC’s Practical Nursing Program continues to serve the region by preparing graduates for essential roles in clinics, hospitals, and healthcare facilities, supporting both local employers and the overall quality of patient care.
