East Central Community College is looking for energetic and driven student-athletes ready to cheer at the collegiate level.

ECCC Cheerleaders are held to a higher standard as they represent the college publicly on many occasions and receive a full-tuition scholarship. In addition to cheering at all home and away football games and home basketball contests, the Warrior Cheer Team also participates in campus pep rallies, parades with the college's Wall O’ Sound Marching Band, community service, and other activities and events.

The ECCC Warrior Cheer Team will soon transition to a competitive cheer program. The first step is to attend a UCA (University Cheerleaders Association) college camp. The goal in 2022-23 is to build a foundation of hardworking, talented athletes so that one day the team can compete in the Game Day Division of UCA College Nationals.

ECCC Warrior Cheer Coach Bailey Gibson was a coed cheerleader at The University of Mississippi for three years. She is full of energy and excited to start this new journey with ECCC Cheerleading.
