The East Central Community College Lady Warriors fell 9-0 in a tough match to Jones College on Tuesday afternoon, February 8. With the loss, the Lady Warriors fall to .500 on the year at 1-1. 

"Our ladies put in a good effort today against a talented Jones College team," said Lady Warrior coach Jay Pacelli. "Maud [Tsaura] and Camila [Vanegas] had terrific matches in defeat. We look to improve overall in the upcoming matches."

Maud Tsaura (Pretoria, South Africa) and Camila Vanegas (Bogota, Colombia) both had strong showings on the singles courts as they pushed their matches into third-set tiebreakers, but unfortunately fell in the close matchups.
