ECCC President Dr. Billy Stewart presented diplomas during the special program held in Vickers Fine Arts Center Auditorium. Rev. Larry Reed, Sr., pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Little Rock, served as guest speaker. ECCC offers adult education/high school equivalency prep courses for those 17 and older throughout the college’s support district, which includes Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Scott and Winston counties. Qualified applicants can also participate in the MI-BEST program, which allows students to take courses needed to prepare for the high school equivalency exam while at the same time training for jobs in fields such as collision repair technology, business and office technology, certified nursing assistant, culinary arts technology, hotel and restaurant management technology, and heating and air conditioning technology.
