East Central Community College
Retrieval of Essential Items from Residence Halls

Current East Central Community College students living in on-campus housing will be allowed to return to campus on the following days and times to retrieve essential items necessary to continue their coursework online.

Essential items include textbooks, laptops, and other resources necessary for academic success. This is not a “move out” day and no large items can be removed during this time.

Students are asked to come only on their scheduled day and time and to get in and out of their residence hall rooms as quickly as possible.

For students who reside in Jackson, Scott, Winston, Todd, Neshoba, Newsome, and Leake halls, please plan to enter the campus only at the main entrance where the ECCC marquee sign is located off West Broad Street. There you will receive further instructions and a special parking pass to park only in the parking lot of your residence hall.

If you reside in Barber Hall or the New Women’s Hall, please go to the parking lot in front of the New Women’s Hall to receive further instructions and your special parking pass.

Students will be asked to surrender the parking pass to college personnel as they depart the area.

Please do not bring friends and/or family members with you so as to practice good social distancing.

If you cannot come at your specified time, please email Dr. Amanda Walton at awalton@eccc.edu or James Miller at jmiller@eccc.edu to schedule a time.
