2019 Mississippi Community/Junior College Art Instructors Competition

East Central Community College art major Keli Smith of Forest received a first place award for her entry “Consumption” in the Three Dimensional Design category of the Mississippi Community/Junior College Art Instructors Association 2019 state art competition. Other ECCC art students participating in the event, which was hosted by Copiah-Lincoln Community College, and their respective art categories were Cassidy Jenkins of Philadelphia and Rebekah Smith and Jack Vidals, both of Chunky, who all entered works in the Two-Dimensional Design category; Joe Prine of Louin, Painting; and Halley Brooks of Carthage, Drawing. ECCC art instructors are Jeffrey Hodges and LeeReyna Leyva.
