East Central Community College defensive back Jaylin Thompson, a sophomore from Vicksburg, had a career night against the Southwest Mississippi Community College Bears Sept. 29 as he wrapped up six tackles and hauled in two interceptions. The sophomore returned one pick 56-yards for a score late in the third quarter.
The Warriors finished the night with four interceptions but ultimately fell short as the Bears won the game 24-20.
ECCC is back on the road this week as the team travels to Booneville on Thursday, Oct. 6, to take on the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers at 6:30 p.m.
