Members of the “Busy Hands” quilting group from Decatur are shown working on a quilt that members of East Central Community College’s DECA organization raffled off during the college’s recent homecoming festivities. Chef Barry Karrh, culinary arts technology instructor and DECA sponsor, hosted the quilters for lunch while they quilted. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the group’s travel to attend the DECA international conference, which is scheduled for April 2018, in Washington, D.C.  DECA is an international association of high school and college students and teachers of marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing sales and service. Along with Karrh, ECCC business instructors Wanda Hurley and Ruth Gregory serve as advisors. (Submitted Photo)
