EDT 1113 – Early Childhood Profession (2nd Year Students, 1st Semester)
This course provides an introduction to the profession of early childhood, types of early childhood programs, and theories of child development. Students are required to observe, assess, and record child behavior through laboratory experience. Room arrangements, software, play, and safety are explored. Two hours lecture. Two hours lab. Three semester hours credit.

This course is designed to provide knowledge of classroom and lab policies and procedures. Safety practices and procedures associated with the automotive program and automotive industry. Two hour lecture, Two semester hour credit

HRT 1213 – Sanitation & Safety
This course will provide basic principles of microbiology, sanitation, and safety for a food service operation. The course studies the implementation of sanitation procedures, cost control, risk reduction standards in a hospitality operation. ServSafe Sanitation Certification from the National Restaurant Association is offered as a part of this course. Two hours lecture. Two hours lab. Three semester hours credit.
