The East Central Community College women’s soccer team beat Pearl River Community College 1-0 in two overtimes in non-division action Friday, Sept. 23.
The victory over the defending MACJC state champions improved ECCC to 8-0 on the season.
The match remained scoreless through 90 minutes and had to go into double overtime before freshman forward Sierra Maness of Corinth High School was able to score with four minutes remaining.
East Central will host Meridian Community College Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 5 p.m. in Bailey Stadium on the Decatur campus.
