The post-season honors keep coming for East Central Community College sophomore guard Roti Ware as today he was named National Junior College Athletic Association Honorable Mention All-American.
The 6-3 guard who prepped at Morton High School was previously named to the NJCAA All-Region 23 Basketball Team and the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges First-Team All-State South Division.
Ware led the Warriors this season with 19.7 points per game. He also led the team in rebounds at six per game and steals with nearly two a contest. He averaged 2.3 assists in the 24 games played.
For the year, Ware hit 113 of 123 free throws for 92 percent.
The East Central Warriors qualified for both the MACJC State Tournament and the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament at the conclusion of the 2018-19 season.
