Also available again this summer will be Weekday Orientation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. each Monday through Thursday from June 11 to Aug. 2. Students must schedule in advance using the myEC link at www.eccc.edu to attend a Weekday Orientation. The college will be closed on Wednesday, July 4.

More information on summer Orientation sessions will be available in May.

During an April Orientation session, new students will receive information on financial aid, admissions, housing and student activities, and discipline and security. Following a tutorial on registering for classes using the college’s myEC portal, new students will move to their programs of study to be advised by faculty and register for Fall classes.

New students will also be able to acquire their student IDs and parking permits. Students should bring a photo ID and their license tag number with them to Orientation.

New students who have questions about their admissions status should contact the Office of Admissions at shollings@eccc.edu or 601-635-6207. For more information about the April Orientation sessions, contact Dr. Randall Lee, vice president for student services, at 601-635-6204 or rlee@eccc.edu.
