The East Central Community College women’s and men’s basketball teams will host JUCO Jamborees on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 and 27, in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the campus in Decatur.
The ECCC Women’s Basketball JUCO Jamboree will be held Friday, Oct. 26, in Brackeen-Wood Gym. General admission is $5 per person and concessions will be sold.
The lineup of games for the Women’s JUCO Jamboree includes Pensacola State College vs. Meridian Community College at Noon, Hinds Community College vs. Southern University Shreveport (La.) at 1 p.m., East Central vs. Northeast Mississippi at 2 p.m., Meridian vs. Southern University Shreveport at 3 p.m., East Central vs. Pensacola State at 4 p.m., and Northeast vs. Hinds at 5 p.m.
The ECCC Men’s Basketball JUCO Jamboree is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27, also in Brackeen-Wood Gym. General admission is $8 per person and concessions will be sold.
The schedule of games includes East Central vs. Shelton State Community College (Ala.) at 10 a.m., Jones College vs. Taylor Made Prep at 11:30 a.m., Jones vs. Shelton State at 1 p.m., and East Central vs. Taylor Made Prep at 2:30 p.m.
The Warriors and Lady Warriors open regular season play on Thursday, Nov. 1, at Bishop State Community College in Mobile. The women tipoff at 5:30 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m. The home openers in Brackeen-Wood Gym are Thursday, Nov. 8, when East Mississippi visits Decatur. The games will be at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
