East Central Community College Culinary Arts Technology students (from left) Adam Anderson of Forest, Alaina Barrier of Philadelphia and Sri Grant of Conehatta received third place honors in the culinary category of the state DECA competition held recently at the Clyde Muse Center in Pearl. Wanda Hurley, Ruth Gregory and Barry Karrh serve as advisors. DECA is an international association of high school and college students and teachers of marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing sales and service.
